The Fisheries Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, invites applications from the interested candidates for the District Programme Unit (DPU) for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) Scheme at 10 potential districts(9 coastal districts and 1 Rayalaseema district ie., Kurnool) in the State. The Structure of DPU with details of Responsibility, Eligibility, Qualifications, Experience, Remuneration, Selection Criteria, Tenure, Terms of Employment etc. Structure of DPU: Office of the concerned District Fisheries Officer.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

a) Masters in Fisheries Science /M.Sc in Zoology/M.Sc in Marine Sciences/M.Sc in Marine Biology/Masters in Fisheries Economics/Masters in IT from any recognized university/Industrial Fisheries/Fisheries Business Management. b) Minimum a Diploma in Information Technology (IT)/Computer Applications.

Desirable: A degree in Management. Preference will be given for Agri Business Management.
